The Castle is open to the public from Easter Monday until the last Sunday in September.
Sunday and Monday only
2.00pm - 5.00pm
July and August only
Sunday 2pm - 5pm
Monday 11am - 5pm
Wednesday 11am - 5pm
It is advisable to check with Auckland Castle before visiting, as occasionally the Castle and Grounds are closed at short notice for Durham Diocesan Events for the Bishop of Durham
